Campas says De La Hoya is making a mistake in overlooking him and looking forward to Mosely. Written by Nelson Ortiz, Latinosportslegends.com May 1, 2003 -- Luis Ramón "Yori Boy" Campas knows that this is his last shot of winning a world title and says he will put all his heart into defeating the reining super welterweight champion, Oscar De La Hoya. "What will happen if I beat him?" said Campas during a public workout in San Diego. "I've trained really hard and I think he (De La Hoya) is overlooking me." De La Hoya who is the WBA & WBC world super welterweight champion signed a lucrative deal for a rematch with Shane Mosely in September. Campas feels that De La Hoya is not focused on his upcoming match and is looking ahead to September's fight. "De La Hoya is making a mistake overlooking me and signing a contract before fighting even fighting me" said Campas. "I will assure him that he will be surprised when we step into the ring." Campas has been in a swirl of controversy recently when he sipped a native potion which was given to him by a shaman who is a high priest in the Zacapoaxtla Indian tribe. Campas said he immediately felt "super strong" and is ready to get into the ring against De La Hoya and beat the Golden Boy. "The first thing you feel is power," Campas said. "Power and confidence.
