Trinidad's bout-by-bout career boxing record.

Tito! Tito! Tito! was the chant you heard all night going into the main attraction of Trinidad vs. Joppy. Fight fans didn't care much for the undercard and were restless for the main fight.

The official attendance for the fight was 18,235 and it seemed like the majority of the crowd were Hispanic.

There were so many Puerto Ricans waving their flag, it resembled the crowd at the P.R day parade in NYC. The crowd was loud, hyper but peaceful -- not a single fight broke out to our knowledge.

The Hispanic support for Trinidad in NYC was incredible and he loved every minute of it.

In all fairness, we must thank Don King for making this fight happen in NYC.  He could have easily taken the fight to Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Kudos go out to MSG also.

Many stars were on hand for the fight.  Actor Denzel Washington, Michael J. Fox, newly-crowned heavyweight champion Hasim "The Rock" Rahman, John Ruiz,  Evander Holyfield, Roberto Duran, Hector Camacho Sr. and to our surprise, Spanish TV icon, Don Francisco of Sabado Gigante.

In speaking with Don Francisco, he said he is a big boxing fan and he wanted to see for himself who is that Trinidad guy they're talking about so much about in boxing. Don Francisco was very impressed with Trinidad's performance and said "Trinidad es un monstro en el ring" (Trinidad is a monster in the ring").

At the post-fight press conference, which didn't begin until about 1:30am, William Joppy was a no-show.  But, there were many other fighters on hand.  Zab Judah was mingling with the crowd of reporters as well as Hasim Rahman and Trinidad's next opponent Bernard Hopkins.

Hopkins was his usual self -- talking up a storm.  He spoke about how he is going to put an end to the Trinidad fiesta and that "Puerto Ricans will have their flag at half-mast on September 16th."  He then went on to say that he's "willing to die for the championship belts" and that he will do whatever it takes to win. (The Trinidad - Hopkins fight will take place at MSG on September 15th).
