Trinidad's bout-by-bout career boxing record.

Felix "Tito" Trinidad came into the ring with his typical Puerto Rico attire, but wore a NYPD hat in tribute of the rescue efforts of the WTC attacks. He also had both flags (U.S. & P.R.) with him.

Several NYC fire fighters who have been fighting the horrible after-effects of the World Trade Center attacks came into the arena right before the start of the Trinidad-Hopkins fight. The sold-out crowd gave them all a well-deserved round of applause and standing ovation.

Many celebrities were on hand to watch the main event -- Real estate mogel, Donald Trump, Actor Michael J. Fox, Comedian Chris Tucker, Rapper Jay Z, former NY Yankee Don Mattingly, Actor Denzel Washington, Film producer Spike Lee and from the NY Knicks, Felton Spenser, Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell.

Many former and present boxers were on hand as well, including 3 time world champion, Evander Holyfield, the first man to ever beat Sugar Ray Robinson, Jake LaMotta, Emile Griffith, Vito Antuorfermo, Iran Barley, Juan LaPorte, Chris Byrd, the great Roberto Duran and several others.

Security was tight at Madison Square Garden and they were checking bags and passing handheld metal detectors on everyone including press people.

Many Puerto Ricans came with their flag and were anxious to see the main event, but it wasn't as loud and visible as it was for the Trinidad-Joppy fight.  As it was before, not a single fight broke out to our knowledge.

The crowd was totally shocked and taken out of the fight by Hopkins.  There were times when the crowd chanted, Tito, Tito, Tito, trying to give Trinidad that extra push, but Hopkins was too much that night and fought a brilliant fight.

At the post-fight press conference, Tito Trinidad did not show up.  His lawyer, Nicholas Medina appeared on behave of the Trinidads and said that "Tito was having trouble urinating" and that the 30 man Trinidad camp were leaving on an early morning plane from Newark back to Puerto Rico. He said Hopkins was a great fighter and that Tito was okay.

Once again, mucho thanks to Don King for making this fight happen. He rescheduled the fight promptly and accordingly despite the horrific attacks made on our nation.
